Republic Ends, Empire Arises

19 09 2015

Lately there has been a lot of people making prophetic claims about Sept 2015, Shemitahs and such things. The justification for these is mostly based on coincidences to do with the well known 7 year economic cycle. Since there is no direct prophetic support for prophetic application of the Shemitah in the scriptures one has to be careful since Jesus warned us that many false prophecies (and prophets) would arise in the last days. So rather than speculate about how Jewish customs and feasts might be turned into prophetic prognostications, I want to look at an event that is prophesied in the scriptures and that is the event that initiates the entire apocayptic sequence in the book of Revelation.

That event is the overturning of the main principle of the republic’s constitution and the assumption of monarchical or imperial power by an unelected president. When this takes place we will know, based on Bible Prophecy that we have entered the apocalypse. It will signify the end of civil liberty, immediately precede the first step in the abolition of religious liberty necessary for the enforcement of the mark of the beast and will be followed by a bloody civil war that will make the US Civil War in 1860’s look like child’s play.

Where does the Bible indicate that the overturning of the republic with the adoption of monarchial power will initiate the apocalypse I hear you ask?

And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.” Rev 6:2

The first horse begins the entire sequence. The question is what does this represent? Well Daniel tells us that a beast in prophecy represents a kindgom.

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. Dan 7:23

So when John the Revelator sees the white horse he is seeing a kingdom that goes “forth conquering and to conquer” pretty much like Daniel’s 4th beast. (While it is a different study, the identification of Daniel’s 4th beast is also interesting) Now we note that this kingdom is white, which according to Rev 19:8,11 indicates righteousness. So the white horse is a seemingly righteous nation that is heavily involved in making war. So I ask, which nation today is the preeminant the wager of righteous wars? Lets put it another way, which “Christian” nation has waged the most wars worldwide this century.

Lets consider it a little further. The Revelator tells is that the horse has a rider and that “a crown was given unto him.” The rider of the horse is its governor that controls where it goes and does. In this case the rider represents the government that controls the nation. The government of this nation is at first without a crown and at some point obtains a crown. If the rider is the government, the crown can only be monarchical power.  It is common to talk about “crown government” when refering to monarchies of various forms. So this can only represent a government that is at first without a king – a republican form of government that at some point repudiates its republicanism to obtain kingly power. We are not told how it is that this comes about, whether it be a miltary coup, or the declaration of a state of emergency that necessitates the suspension of the constitution or something less dramatic. However, when it takes place, a nonelected president, or an elected one one acting by executive decree (the first of three) will assume power above and beyond that granted by the constitution.

There can be little question of which nation it is that is ostensibly Christian, has a republican form of government and has preeminent war making power worldwide. The key point here is that it has not yet obtained a crown form of government but must do so before the second red horse can come. The civil war that is described by the red horse is to be expected as a natural consequence of the overthrow of republican government by kingly power as took place when Julius Ceasar in 47BC overthrew the Roman Republic and became its dictator.

And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. Rev 6:4

Note here that the red horse’s rider (government) is given power to “kill one another” rather than to kill others. This is not just a war against a foreign foe, but describes mutual destruction, a war among themselves as is indicated by the original Greek.  Between these two events, the government obtaining a crown and the resulting civil war occurs another significant event that the prophet Daniel tells us about:

He shall also set his face to {enter/obtain] with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones [with/against] him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him. After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many. Dan 11:17-18

It is commonly accepted that these verses talk about the rise of Julius Caesar, his affair with Cleopatra and the civil war against the republican forces that opposed his dicatorship. Yet as explained here, here, here and here, the US is repeating the prophetic history of ancient Rome. This verse does not specifically tell us that he had an affair with Cleopatra but “the daughter of women”. A woman in bible prophecy is consistently used to represent a church, either good or bad. For example the pure worman in Rev 12 which is the same as the one identified by the prophet Jeremiah “I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman. ” Jer 6:2. Alternatively we have the corrupt woman, the harlot described in Rev 17 that commits “fornication with the kings of the earth.” Accordingly between the rise of the dictatorship and the ensuring civil war, the neo-caesar will enter into an illicit relationship with the church that will result in its corruption and open the way for the mark of the beast.

In conclusion, the economy will continue to go from bad to worse, and there will be increasing “wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Mat 24:6. Yet when you see the nation’s republican form of goverment repudiated and replaced by kingly or dictatorial power, you had better strap yourself in because you will then know for sure that we have entered into the final apocalypse. That time is now very, very soon. Perhaps before the end of 2016 and start the of 2017.
